Its 2010..... been a while since I have blogged!

Well, I am not sure where to start. I have not blogged in quite a while. A lot has happened since last easter! Rod has a new Job at Agstar, and now commutes to AppleValley inststead of downtown mpls. He is home earlier in the evening, which has been just great!

After almost a year of trying, I am PREGNANT! Yeah! I am due June 12th. We found out on Dec. 30th with my mom, sisters, Rod and Wyatt that it is another little BOY! We are so happy and feel very blessed that I got pregnant. I have had some ups and downs so far, but things look good, and the belly is growing fast! My next door neighbor and 2 of my friends are due within 2 weeks of me, so it should be a fun spring/summer!

Wyatt is just changing every day and is just my chatty now. Its so much fun! He turned 3 Dec. 20th and we had a fun Rudolph themed birthday party with 10 little friends. He really enjoyed all of the kids over here.

We are in ECFE and swimming lessons, and will be doing a mom and me class on a farm this spring. I am trying to cram a lot of fun stuff in before the next little guy is born and I will be nursing and so I will not have as much alone time with Wyatt.

We had a great Christmas and New Years, with my mom and sisters in town, and Rod's parents over for Christmas eve.

Hope everyone had a great 2009, and will have an even better 2010. We think this will be an exciting year for us. I will update before 6 months from now... I promise :)

Happy Easter!

Sorry it has been so long! Where has the time gone... I don't know. I am not really sure what happened in March, but I will update you on what's happening now. Well for one, Happy Easter! Secondly, Rod was in the hospital for 4 days due to a staff infection in his knee. I felt kind of bad because I thought he was just being a typical guy and really playing up that his knee hurt, so I went with him to the Dr last wednesday, and they immediately opened up his knee and drained it, and put him right in the hospital with IV antibiotics and pain medicine. I think I will listen next time he tells me he is in pain. :) The Dr. said it was just bad luck that he got the infection, but he is home now with more medicine.

So today is Easter. Wyatt had so much fun searching for his Eggs today at Grandpa and Grandma's house. We even got to go outside for a couple hours. It was so nice out! He loved getting his candy.. but I love it too because I love jelly beans! It is so much fun to see him get so excited to find the eggs and Easter basket. I will post those picts when I get them from Grandpa Bob.

We really missed seeing Nini, Katie and Marit and everyone else, but all in all, I think we had a good day, depsite Rod being a bit disabled from his knee still. Grandma Alice made some great food.... the ham was wonderful! We can only go over there for food once in a while, or Rod will get used to that good home cookin he doesn't get too often here! :)

Hope you all had a great Easter!

Happy President's Day

I was wondering why there were so many kids in Target today and then I realized it was President's Day, and they don't have school. I used to love that holiday! We had a really nice Valentine's Day. Rod and I went out for dinner to Olive Garden while Grandpa Bob and Alice watched Wyatt for us. We have not been out alone in so long, it took a little bit to get used to not chasing after Wyatt and pulling stuff out of my purse to keep him busy! It was nice though, and we both agreed it has to happen more often!

February 10th was Rod's birthday and I actually cooked a whole thanksgiving meal.. Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing.... the whole bit!" It was really good, but a lot of work! I have never done all of that by myself. I am glad Rod liked it though. Turkey is my favorite meat, so I really loved it!

We really don't have a lot of other exciting news to report. Wyatt is talking so much. He is getting to be so independent too, and doesn't like to get dressed at all. He prefers
to stay in whatever he has on... so that is fun negotiating that! He is a good boy though, and even says " Thank you Mommy" and brings his dishes to the sink when he was done! I think he can give his daddy some lessons on the dishes part! :)

Hope you all enjoyed this holiday.

Sorry its been so long!

Wyatt in the Recovery room after surgery having a hard time waking up!
Wyatt with his friends Luke and Abby.

Wyatt with the crazy hair, before Grandma Alice gave him a cut!

Long time, no post! I have just been busy doing stuff with Wyatt and all that goes along with that. Wyatt had Surgery on January 15th on his front teeth and mouth. We went to Childrens Hospital in St. Paul and he was asleep for about an hour and a half. It went great. Rod went back with him while they put him under.... I just couldn't watch that, but we both were there when he was done and he was a very unhappy camper! I think he was confused and groggy, but after a couple of hours in dad's arms, he was fine. The hardest part of the day was having to give back the purple PJ's they had him wear. He wanted to keep them. The Dr's and nurses at Childrens are just amazing.

Its been pretty cold , so we have been staying inside, going to and having playdates, and that's pretty much it! I have been going to the Fertiltiy Dr quite a bit to try for baby number 2, so that keeps me really busy. Hopefully in a few months we will have baby news.... Say a prayer!

Rod's birthday is coming up February 10th..... 35! Almost 40, that's what I keep telling him. In March we have Ella's birthday party. I can't believe she will be three.

Not much else to report. Hopefully I will keep this more up to date!

Blowing out candles!

Happy Birthday Wyatt! We celebrated Wyatt's 2nd birthday party yesterday with some little friends and family. It was an elmo themed party, and was lots of fun. There was a bit of a blizzard, but most people made it. We decorated oranments with Elmo stickers, and had subs and cupcakes. It was fun. Wyatt loved his gifts, especially the fake leaf blower from Grandpa Bob. He loves blowing with him in the summer. I guess he can blow the snow with it for now. I can't believe its been 2 years since he was born. Time does fly. He is such a little boy now, not so much a baby. Our next feat is going to be training that I might start after Christmas. He is showing signs of being ready, but from what I have heard 2 is young for a boy. Tomorrow we go for our 2 year check up and shots.... no fun! Then, Nini, Marit and Katie come to town for 9 days, so that should be a lot of fun. Wyatt loves to play with them. Wyatt loves to play in the snow, so maybe they will be brave and go out with him. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! Here are some picts of the fun day!

Let it Snow!

Cute little Wyatt at Thanksgiving at Fran's.
Danielle's 30th Birthday party..... Fun night out!

Grandpa Bob took some photos in front of the tree

Wow, there is a lot of snow outside! Wyatt and I went out to play yesterday afternoon, and he just loved it. He didn't like getting all the gear on, but once we were outside, there was no going in. He has his own little shovel and he got a real kick out of it.

I am trying to think what went on this last week....... We went to ecfe, and he did better, only a little crying. We also went to a few stores to get some last minute Christmas gifts. He loves toys r us.... I have to bribe him with buying him something to get him out of there. He takes the toys off the shelf and puts them in my cart. Oh, I almost forgot..... we went to see Santa last Satuday, but he wouldn't sit on his lap or really go near him to get the candy cane. Rod was really bummed.... but I reminded him that we have lots of years to sit on Santa's lap, so maybe next year!

This week we have ecfe tomorrow, and Saturday we have a Christmas party for the kids at a neighbors, and then soon.... Wyatt will be 2 ! I can't believe it! Here are a few pictures... The first is my friend Danielle's birthday party Rod and I went to downtown. Itwas a lot of fun! The next is a pict Grandpa Bob took of us this last weekend. There is also one of Wyatt at Thanksgiving.
Enjoy the snow!

Gobble Gobble!

Happy belated Thanksgiving! We got to celebrate Turkey Day 2 times. On Thursday at Rod's sister's house, and on Saturday at my dad's girlfriend's Cindy's house. Lots of good food was eaten, but Wyatt had little interest in any of it. Sometimes I wonder how he has so much energy when he barely eats anything. He had lots of fun playing with his cousins though. Since its just he and I at home, he gets really excited to be around other little ones. Friday morning I got up and went shopping at 5am... never again! I got a few things, but the savings wasn't worth how early I got up. :) Then we took Wyatt to a new hands on play center in Woodbury called Little Kids, Big City. It was really cool, and Wyatt loved all the pretend city playscapes, especially the post office. It was fun having Rod around for 4 days... but then came today and we are back in the routine of things. This week we are going to check out a Montessori preschool for next fall, going to ECFE, and that's about it! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I will post pictures soon!
